The scientific reviewed proceedings of the Institute of Hydrometeorology have been published since 1956.
During the Soviet period, the Proceedings of the Institute were indexed in scientific and technical information organizations, including the publications of VINITI – the profile institute of the Russian Federation. At the time of the dissolution of the Soviet Union, 99 volumes had been published, and the subsequent Volume №100 was issued in 1996.
The Proceedings have the ISSN index 1512-0902. They are published thematically and reflect current issues in hydrometeorology and ecology.
All volumes of the Proceedings are annotated and abstracted in the Georgian abstract journal of “Tekinform” of the Georgian Technical University, and therefore belong to the category of refereed/abstracted scientific publications.
The volumes of the Proceedings of the Hydrometeorology Institute are also available in the database of the digital library “Iverieli” of the Parliament of Georgia, as well as in the Digital Archive of the Library Consortium of the National Scientific Library of Georgia, and have been assigned DSpace identifiers. In addition, the Proceedings have a DOI – doi.org/10.36073/1512-0902.
