In this paper, from a climatological point of view, a brief description of cloudiness in the territory of Georgia is given. The role of cloudiness in the formation of the Earth's climate is noted. Considered are the significant work carried out in various scientific centers around the world to study the influence of galactic cosmic rays on the cloud cover of the Earth.
